Ingredients

  • 1 can buttery flaky crescent rolls
  • 6-8 slices Kraft Swiss cheese
  • ¼ lb ham off the bone sliced slightly thick
  • Dijon mustard
  • Local honey
  • 1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • Poppy seeds optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • On a round pizza stone or baking sheet, arrange the crescent roll triangles in a circular pattern, with the wide ends overlapping in the center to form a ring.
  • Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over the dough, followed by a drizzle of honey.
  • Layer the ham and Swiss cheese evenly around the ring.
  • Fold the narrow ends of the crescent rolls over the filling, tucking them under the center to create a complete ring.
  • Brush the top with egg wash and bake for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 3 minutes.
  • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.

Optional Bunny Shape:

  • If making a bunny-shaped croissant ring, take two additional crescent roll rectangles, roll them out thin, and shape them into ears. Bake separately for 4-6 minutes until golden. Attach them to the top of the ring, and for extra flair, place cubed cheese inside the ears and at the bottom to resemble feet!
