Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches - Easy & Delicious Recipe

Make the best Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches with this easy recipe! Tender chuck roast, savory aus jus, and melty provolone on crusty bread. Perfect for dinner or a crowd!

Ingredients

  • 3.5-4 lb chuck roast
  • Salt & pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1 onion sliced in rounds
  • 1 packet of Aus Jus
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1.5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 oz light beer I used michalob ultra
  • Pistolets
  • Provolone cheese

Instructions

  • In a searing crockpot or on the stove. Melt your butter, season and sear your meat on all 4 sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add your onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire, aus jus packet, and beer. Cooking down 5-7 minutes.
  • Add back in your meat and cook on high 4 hrs.

Notes

Serve on a pistolet with provolone cheese and make sure to get a dish of aus jus gravy on the side for dipping!
