Easy Cornbread Casserole Recipe – Sweet and Savory Perfection

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boxes of Zatarains honey butter cornbread or Jiffy
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1/2 stick butter cubed (cold)
  • 2 cream corn can
  • 3 frozen corn bags
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 cup triple cheddar shredded

Instructions
 

  • Mix everything together in a bowl other than the cold 1/2 of butter. Add 2 tbsp of broth if using canned peas.
  • Spray a 9 x13 casserole dish and pour mixture in. Top with cold butter all over and bake on 350 for 45minutes to an hour. Test with a toothpick in the middle to make sure it comes clean.
  • Allow 20-30 minutes for it out of the oven to set.
  • OPTIONAL: Drizzle with honey
