Easy One-Pot Beef & Broccoli Ramen Skillet

A 30-minute, better-than-takeout dinner made in one pan.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp minced or grated ginger
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • ¼ cup tamari coconut aminos, or soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 –4 cups broccoli florets
  • 16 oz 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 3-oz packages dry ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chili oil or chili crunch for topping

Instructions

Build the flavor base.

  • In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté 2–3 minutes until fragrant and softened.

Cook the meat.

  • Add ground beef or turkey. Break apart and cook until starting to brown.

Add sauce.

  • Stir in tamari (or soy sauce) and honey.
  • Let cook until meat is fully browned and coated in the sauce.
  • Drain excess grease if needed.

Steam the broccoli.

  • Add broccoli, stir, cover, and cook 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.

Cook the ramen.

  • Pour in beef broth. Add dry ramen noodles.
  • Cover and simmer 4–5 minutes, until noodles are tender.

Finish & garnish.

  • Stir everything together.
  • Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of chili oil or chili crunch.
