Garlic Dill Aioli BLET

A fresh twist on the classic BLT, featuring a perfectly fried egg, crispy bacon, juicy heirloom tomatoes, and a simple garlic dill aioli that takes this sandwich over the top.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough or multigrain bread toasted
  • 2 tablespoons garlic aioli
  • 1 –2 teaspoons fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1 leaf butter lettuce
  • 2 slices heirloom tomato
  • 2 –3 slices crispy bacon
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Toast the bread until golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the garlic aioli and fresh dill.
  • Spread the garlic dill aioli generously on both slices of toasted bread.
  • Layer the butter lettuce on the bottom slice of bread.
  • Add the heirloom tomato slices and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Top with the crispy bacon.
  • Fry the egg to your preferred doneness and place it on top of the bacon.
  • Finish with the remaining slice of bread.
  • Slice in half and serve immediately.
