1 salted, 1 unsalted
1
cup
dark brown sugar
1
packet hot chocolate powder mix
1
12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
Prep the pan:
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay out the saltine crackers in a single, tight layer.
Make the toffee:
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
In a saucepan, melt the two sticks of butter.
Whisk in the dark brown sugar until fully combined and bubbling.
Stir in the hot cocoa mix and let it boil together for 3 minutes.
Coat the crackers:
Pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the saltines and spread to coat every cracker.
Bake for 3–5 minutes until bubbly.
Add the chocolate:
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle on the chocolate chips.
Once softened, spread them into an even melted layer.
Load on the toppings:
Sprinkle on the hot-chocolate cereal, mini marshmallows, and Christmas sprinkles.
Press everything gently into the melted chocolate so it sticks.
Chill:
Refrigerate for 45–60 minutes, or freeze for 30 minutes if you need it fast.
Crack it:
Peel off the parchment paper, break it into pieces, and display on a pretty holiday dish.
