Marinated Crab Claws with Garlic Butter – Southern-Style Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh crab claws Louisiana brand recommended
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Cajun seasoning to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • ½ bunch green onions chopped
  • Juice of half a lemon

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, chopped parsley, and green onions. Let the mixture cook together for 5-10 minutes to meld the flavors.
  • Add the crab claws to the pan and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat the crab in the seasoned butter. Squeeze in the lemon juice.
  • Serve the marinated crab claws warm. For an extra boost of heat just before serving, place in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 7 minutes. Enjoy as an appetizer!
