One Pan Easy Beef & Broccoli is the perfect quick and flavorful dinner made with flank steak and crisp broccoli in a rich stir-fry sauce. A better-than-takeout favorite, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

For the Beef:

  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Vegetables:

  • 2 cups small broccoli florets

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, avocado oil, and cornstarch. Toss to coat and set aside to marinate.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and cook for about 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mostly browned.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the pan. Stir and cook for another 2–3 minutes until they start to soften.
  • Reduce the heat to medium. Stir the sauce again and add it to the pan. Let everything simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and the beef is fully cooked.
  • Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
