Pimento cheese balls are a crispy, creamy southern appetizer that's perfect for parties or snacking. Made with store-bought pimento cheese, coated in seasoned panko, and pan-fried until golden, they sit on a sweet layer of pepper jelly for the perfect savory-sweet bite.
Roll your cold pimento cheese into balls, dip in flour, then egg wash, then panko mixture (mix the Italian seasoning with panko). Put in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before frying
Pan fry on the stove top in your oil until golden brown on all sides
In your plate put a layer of pepper jelly at the bottom, add your cheese balls on top, then sprinkle with a little more Italian seasoning.
Notes
You can have extra pepper jelly on the side for dipping
