Ingredients

  • 8 lb bone-in spiral sliced half ham
  • 2 Tbsp butter melted
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup pineapple juice

Instructions

  • Place ham in slow cooker and pour pineapple juice into the bottom. Brush with melted butter and honey, getting between slices. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours.
  • Preheat broiler to HIGH. Transfer ham to a foil-lined roasting pan.
  • Mix sugar, salt, onion powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and paprika. Pat half over ham and broil until caramelized.
  • In a saucepan, combine remaining sugar mix with 3 Tbsp water, ham juices, or bourbon. Boil 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  • Brush glaze over ham, broil again for 1–2 minutes (watch carefully), then let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
