"Snickers" Date Bark

Make this healthy 'Snickers' Date Bark with dates, peanut butter, almonds, and dark chocolate. A delicious, guilt-free treat with a perfect balance of sweet and salty!

Ingredients

  • 1 container of dates
  • Any type of peanut butter organic or cashew butter for a healthier option
  • Crushed almonds and pretzels
  • Vanilla ice cream Alec's brand for a healthier option
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  • On parchment paper, lay down the dates and flatten them with a glass cup.
  • Spread a layer of peanut butter over the dates.
  • Sprinkle crushed almonds and pretzels on top of the peanut butter.
  • Add a layer of vanilla ice cream.
  • Heat the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil until melted.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the layers.
  • Sprinkle a little sea salt on top.
  • Let the bark set in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  • Break off pieces to eat and enjoy!
