Preheat the oven to 350°F. Melt butter in a large bowl and add the rest of the crust ingredients. Mix together. Set aside 1 heaping cup for the topping.
Line an 8x8 baking pan with foil and spray to prevent sticking. Layer the crust mixture in the bottom and pat it down firmly.
In a separate bowl, combine all the strawberry layer ingredients and mix together. Spread this mixture evenly on top of the crust. Sprinkle the reserved crust mixture over the strawberries.
Bake for 50-55 minutes, watching carefully. The crust should be toasted, and the strawberry layer should be bubbling. Let cool completely for at least an hour before cutting. Enjoy!
