Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 yellow onion diced
  • 2 celery diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 carrots diced small
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 package jimmy dean hot sausage
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 link smoked sausage
  • 1 link green onion sausage
  • 16 oz pickled pork meat
  • 8 oz diced ham cubes
  • 20 oz bag 15 bean mix with seasoning I like hurstbeens
  • 32 oz chicken broth low sodium – May need a little more if the beans soak up too much
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp complete seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Trinity mix seasoning

Instructions
 

  • 1 in a stock pot add in onions, bell pepper, celery, carrots, and minced garlic. Cook until softened and fragrant
  • Add in ground hot sausage. Let it cook through
  • Add in the rest of your meats, seasoning packet from bag of beans, other seasonings listed, and can of tomatoes. Let it coo about 20 minutes to all marry together
  • Rinse and drain your beans at least 4 times then add to your pot. Add in your chicken broth. Cover and cook until beans are done. About 2 hours

Notes

the longer they cook the better they get but they also will get more swollen and may need a little more liquid. So keep extra on hand just incase.
