What You Need To Make Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon

How To Make Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon
1
Start by patting the salmon dry and removing the skin if it’s still on. If needed, cut the salmon into filets. In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder, minced garlic, garlic and herb seasoning, salmon seasoning, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
2
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Add your broccolini, drizzle with avocado oil, and sprinkle with Badia seasoning and garlic herb blend. Next, slice two lemons and arrange the rounds in a row on the sheetpan to act as a base for the salmon.
3
Lay the salmon filets on top of the lemon slices and spread half the butter mixture on top of them. Bake everything at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes to crisp the edges a bit. While that finishes, microwave the remaining butter mixture. Once the salmon is out of the oven, spread the rest over the top for an extra hit of buttery flavor. Serve it up hot.
Commonly Asked Questions
How do I know when the salmon is done?
The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork. If you’ve got a meat thermometer, shoot for an internal temp of 145°F in the thickest part.
Can I use regular broccoli instead of broccolini?
Yep. Just chop it into smaller pieces so it cooks at the same speed as the salmon.
What if I don’t have salmon seasoning?
No problem. You can use a mix of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of cayenne for a quick DIY version.
Does this recipe work with frozen salmon?
Yes, just make sure it’s fully thawed and patted dry before seasoning and baking.
