Cajun Crawfish Rolls

Cajun Crawfish Rolls are the ultimate cheesy, spicy Southern appetizer. Loaded with Louisiana crawfish tails, cream cheese, Cajun seasoning, and melted cheese inside Hawaiian rolls, these baked sliders are perfect for parties, game days, or weeknight dinners. Bold, creamy, and totally addictive!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz crawfish tails fresh or frozen but must be Louisiana
  • 1/2 red bell pepper sautéed
  • 1/2 yellow onion sautéed
  • 1 tbsp garlic sautéed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese whipped or softened
  • 1 tbsp worcheshire
  • 1/2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded pepper jack or mozzarella for a milder taste
  • 1/4 cup Colby Jack or cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp Creole Trinity and Herb
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning like Tony’s
  • King Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Sauté onions, bell pepper and garlic in butter. Set aside to cool
  • Mix everything else in a bowl for crawfish mix
  • Cut your Hawaiian rolls in half and layer the crawfish mix, more pepper jack cheese on top
  • Out on top of buns, melt butter and add more Creole Trinity and herb and brush on
  • Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes
