What You Need To Make Cajun Crawfish Rolls

  • Crawfish tails (Louisiana preferred)
  • Bell pepper, onion, and garlic
  • Cream cheese and mayo
  • Cajun and Creole seasonings
  • Colby Jack and pepper jack cheeses
  • Worcestershire and hot sauce
  • King’s Hawaiian rolls and butter

How To Make Cajun Crawfish Rolls

Sauté the onions, bell pepper, and garlic in butter until soft, then set aside to cool.

In a large bowl, mix the crawfish tails, cream cheese, mayo, Worcestershire, hot sauce, shredded cheeses, and seasonings until smooth. Stir in the sautéed vegetables.

Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Spread the crawfish mixture evenly on the bottom half, then top with extra cheese and the top of the rolls.

Melt butter and mix in a bit more Creole Trinity and Herb seasoning. Brush over the tops.

Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and melty. Serve warm and watch them disappear.

Cajun Crawfish Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz crawfish tails fresh or frozen but must be Louisiana
  • 1/2 red bell pepper sautéed
  • 1/2 yellow onion sautéed
  • 1 tbsp garlic sautéed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese whipped or softened
  • 1 tbsp worcheshire
  • 1/2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded pepper jack or mozzarella for a milder taste
  • 1/4 cup Colby Jack or cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp Creole Trinity and Herb
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning like Tony’s
  • King Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Sauté onions, bell pepper and garlic in butter. Set aside to cool
  • Mix everything else in a bowl for crawfish mix
  • Cut your Hawaiian rolls in half and layer the crawfish mix, more pepper jack cheese on top
  • Out on top of buns, melt butter and add more Creole Trinity and herb and brush on
  • Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes
