Cajun Sausage and Peppers

Cajun sausage and peppers is a quick one-skillet dinner loaded with bold flavors. Made with andouille sausage, bell peppers, and Cajun spices, this easy recipe is perfect for busy weeknights. Serve it alone or over rice for a spicy southern-style meal.

Ingredients

  • package Andouille sausage sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • S&P to taste

Instructions

  • Add everything to a cast iron skillet and let it cook about 10-15 minutes until the sausage is seared and the onions and peppers are soft!
  • Enjoy by itself or serve over rice!
