Rinse and drain your beans, overnight soaking is optional. But I like to soak at least 30 minutes to help speed up the cooking process
In a pot melt your butter and sauté your onions and green onions
Add in your sausage and ham, let it cool until done. Add in your spices, tomato paste, sundried tomato’s, and let it cook together 5 minutes.
Add in your beans and broth, cover and cook on medium for 2 hours or until your beans are tender.
Add in the optional cream for a creamy taste!
